Walkthrough & Notes
Macsen appears at various locations in the Stonedeans. This is a Warband quest. "Spoils" rewards are available only once per day; however you still gain the other rewards. The Arch-nemesis Mounted Macsen is accompanied by 3 Elite Master Mounted Warriors and 3 Nemesis Mounted Archers - who also provide Macsen with an as yet unidentified Shield type buff.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue Macsen is the leader of an elite band of Dunlending riders that are quite formidable despite the Dunlendings not having much history as riders of horses. They would give all but the most skilled Rohirrim trouble in battle. Background Macsen leads an elite band of riders out of Madh-fushaum, and was trained in combat on a horse by the Uruk-hai of the White Hand. Objective 1 Defeat Macsen Macsen and his band of riders have set ablaze the farms in the southern Stonedeans, and keep watch the road south-east of Brockbridge for trade or reinforcements. Objective 2 Completed Macsen and his elite band of riders are now defeated, and can no longer ravage the plains in the eastern Stonedeans. With the mighty Macsen and his riders now defeated, it has left Madh-fushaum more susceptible to mounted attacks; though with the siege on Brockbridge, one may not come from the Rohirrim for some time.
